Redefining the Meaning of Success

When I first launched Subjectively Successful, the goal was to have real conversations about success — what it means, how to define it, and how to live it out on your own terms. But over time, I realized I didn’t want my story, or my message, to be built on the ashes of a painful season.

In 2022, I went through one of the hardest experiences of my life — a lawsuit with former business partners that tested everything I thought I knew about success. That experience forced me to look deeper at what actually matters: not just the business wins or the material milestones, but the growth that happens inside of us and the people we grow alongside.

Why “Grow Together” Feels Different

Grow Together represents a new direction — one rooted in community, faith, and purpose. It’s not about chasing external validation or checking boxes on a success list. It’s about personal growth, spiritual growth, and relational growth — and doing it together.

This podcast isn’t only for entrepreneurs or leaders. It’s for anyone who’s growing — through loss, through rebuilding, through rediscovering who they are in God and who they want to become. We’ll talk about business, yes, but we’ll also talk about unity, healing, relationships, and how faith shapes it all.

For a long time, I measured progress by output — projects completed, clients signed, dollars earned. But real growth happens in the quiet spaces: the moments of humility, healing, and rebuilding.

Grow Together is about embracing that process and inviting others into it. It’s a reminder that none of us are meant to walk through life alone. Whether you’re leading a team, running a small business, serving in ministry, or simply trying to become a better person, growth happens when we show up — together.
